Updated: Oct 14, 2021

Galaxy Z Fold 3 came with a Under Display Selfie Camera now we are hearing that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 might arrive with Dual under-display fingerprint sensor thanks to a patent application spotted by LetsGoDigital.
The rumoured dual under-display fingerprint sensor will allow the user to unlock the galaxy device by placing finger onto either the external or the main foldable display.
If you look at the placements of Both the fingerprint scanner, it very much seems both of them will be communicating with the same PCB on the logic board of the Galaxy, which will also make this more of an efficient way of doing this. According to SamMobile Samsung could go for only ultrasonic or optical sensors or combination of both, but take that as a guess at this moment.
With this tech, it will be much easier to do the payments, unlock the device, and stuffs like that. Even though the side mounted physical finger print scanner of the past Galaxy Fold devices isn’t bad or slow but having an under display fingerprint scanner makes it more convenient and modern like other flagship galaxy models. Why this is a big deal? Well it’s the first time we are going to see under display fingerprint scanner that too dual finger print scanner on any foldable device.
The Galaxy Z Fold 4 expected to come in August 2022. And we are already started to get news. Hopefully Samsung will feature an improved under-display selfie camera inside the main display this time.
