Updated: Galaxy S23 FE - What you should know!

Updated: Jun 15

UPDATE: The Galaxy S23 FE will debut in Q3 2023, but it won't be available everywhere. In Q4 2023 and Q1 2024, the phone will be made available to more markets. The Exynos 2200 CPU with AMD-powered Xclipse 920 GPU will power the forthcoming Fan Edition phone, as we previously reported.

Although the Galaxy S23 FE may not be available anytime soon, it is still very much in the works. The next FE phone from Samsung will likely be unveiled in late 2023 or early 2024. There won't be a Snapdragon version of the next Samsung Galaxy S23 FE since the company has opted to employ its own Exynos 2200 CPU according to a leaker.

Galaxy S23 FE rumored specs:

  • Exynos 2200

  • 6.4 Gbps LPDDR5 6/8 GB RAM

  • UFS 3.1 128GB/256GB

  • Front camera: 12MP, 1.12um

  • Wide-angle camera: Wide-angle 50 MP 1.0um GN3

  • 3x telephoto camera: 8 MP 1.0um Hi-347

  • Ultra wide-angle camera: 12MP, 1.12um IMX258

Particularly the Exynos 2200 portion, the specs appear to be really unimpressive. In its most recent flagship series, Samsung did away with its own CPUs and used just Qualcomm silicon for all three flagship Galaxy S models. While the Exynos and Snapdragon chipsets have always been neck and neck in terms of raw power, Samsung's own chipsets have been plagued by thermal and efficiency problems for years. The Galaxy A54, which has nearly identical specs as the S23 FE (with the exception of the telephoto camera and the slightly superior processor) and a relatively affordable pricing, will likely be the S23 FE's biggest internal rival.

Now recently Exynos 2300 popped up online. even though its not a massive overhaul over the Exynos 2200 but its still has almost the same CPU cores as the current Qualcomm snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The Exynos 2300 looks to be powering this unknown device. That chipset is rumored to include a nine-core CPU configuration and that is exactly what we see on the GeekBench test with one Prime Cortex-X3 core running at 3.09GHz, four Cortex-A715 performance cores clocked at 2.65GHz, and four Cortex-A510 efficiency cores running at 2.1GHz.

Therefore, the Galaxy S23FE will undoubtedly be popular given its low pricing if it even has the Exynos 2300 chip in place of the outdated Exynos 2200. but more news will clear that. if you wanna know more about the upcoming crazy Exynos 2400 click here.
