Galaxy Z Fold 5 will feature a 108MP camera, s-pen slot and no crease

Samsung needs to find a method to set its products apart from the competitors in the foldable industry in order to preserve its market-leading position. According to a recent claim from the Vietnamese site The Pixel, Samsung is prepared to go above and beyond for the Galaxy Z Fold 5.

A new hinge style for a screen that won't create crease may be present in Fold 5.

Samsung went all out with its foldable phones when other manufacturers were playing it safe, giving it not only a sizable market share but also the opportunity to learn a lot. According to the Pixel, the Fold 5 won't be featuring crease inside the main display. According to the Korean news source Naver, Samsung has created a novel hinge known as a dumbbell hinge that enables the main screen to sink into the phone's body in order to avoid the internal screen from creasing. The Fold 5 will be able to fold fully flat thanks to its design. The primary display will remain 7.6 inches in size and have a 1768 x 2208 resolution.

The Fold 5 will be a little bit taller and a little bit less wide than its predecessor, with the unfolded dimensions of 158.5 x 128.5 x 6.5mm compared to the Fold 4's 155.1 x 130.1 x 6.3 mm.

It will have a folded size of 158.5 x 67.5 x 14.5–16 mm. The Fold 4 has folded measurements that are 155.1 x 67.1 x 14.2–15.8 mm, in comparison.

The tablet will weigh 275 grammes, according to the rumour, somewhat more than the 263 grammes of the Fold 4.

The site has previously said that the increase in weight is because of the camera components, and according to its most recent rumour, the phone would replace the 50MP main camera with the 108MP camera seen on the Galaxy S22 Ultra.
