Google Pixel 6 will be unveiled a day before Apple iPhone 13?

According to a Weibo tipster (via Notebookcheck) the Pixel 6 will be announced on September 13. The Pixel 6 and the Pixel 6 Pro are the hottest phone of this year. Preview of the Google phone has already been shown by google themselves, shows the premium design and it will be powered by the googles own custom SoC “tensor“, which rumors suggest will be based on Samsung's 5nm process.

Rumors indicate that Samsung's budget flagship, the Galaxy S21 FE will be introduced on September 8 and Apple's next iPhone series will be revealed on September 14. So Google’s pixel 6 launch date shows Google’s seriousness this time.

Google will also upgrade the camera hardware by a lot aside from the design and build quality upgrades. The standard model is rumored to come with a 50MP main camera and a 12MP ultra-wide unit. The Pixel 6 Pro is will add another camera, a 48MP telephoto zoom camera with 5x optical zoom.

The new devices will seemingly also have in-display fingerprint reader, bigger batteries and UWB chip. The Pixel 6 will come in black, mint green, and orange-coral shades, and the Pixel 6 Pro will be have black, gold, and silver as colour option.
