Google Pixel 8 could cost way MORE..
Google Pixel 6 or Pixel 7 launched at crazy price of $599. That alone made these Google Pixel devices super cheap to grab with all those Pixel Flagship features that too considering the competition is starting at $799. But unpleasant rumors of a new pricing between $649 and $699 are currently around the internet for the upcoming Google Pixel 8.
Since the past Pixel standard models were priced at $599 at launch, everyone kind of expects Google to keep the same price even for the upcoming google pixel 8 model which will replace the Pixel 7 in the market. Leaker Yogesh Brar, disagrees.

In his tweet, he states that the Pixel 8 will be released in early October for either $649 or $699. Even if that forecast came true, it would result in a price increase of at least $50.
Now if you look at another google pixel device it will make more sense. The actual price difference between the Pixel 6a from last year ($449) and this years Pixel 7a ($499) devices at the time of release is also $50.
Google this year is bringing a lot of changes to the pixel 8 and Pixel 8 pro. We recently even saw the pixel 8 pro live images. Design wise the phones are much less boxy than the current models. These two devices come with a new camera bar design with some significant upgrades in the camera department.
The ISOCELL GN1 will be replaced in both Pixel 8 phones with the bigger ISOCELL GN2 50MP camera, which can capture 35 percent more light than the current models for improved low-light shooting. Additionally, it will feature higher shutter speeds to lessen blur. There are way more changes coming to the cameras like new UW sensor and 8K capabilites.
Plus this year finally Google pixel devices might feature Samsung DeX like feature, it will make the experience of using the phones different and greater when connected to external monitor.
We might also see big upgrades in the battery and charging department for the pixel 8 and 8 pro with bigger battery capacities and faster charging.
Other than that pixel 8 and pixel 8 pro are getting massive display upgrades in the form a brighter display and better refresh rate switching capabilites and that too the display of the pixel 8 pro will be capable to switch it refresh rate to 10Hz too. It will be great for battery performance.
Both the pixel 8 and 8 pro will be powered by the upcoming Tensor G3 chipset which will have one prime core as Cortex X3 core running at 3.0GHz.
Other cores like four Cortex-A715 performance CPU cores will be running at 2.45GHz and four Cortex-A510 efficiency CPU cores will be running at 2.15GHz to handle everything else on these devices.
