Motorola may be the first to release a 200MP phone

In September, Samsung announced the their first 200MP smartphone sensor even though it was rumored to come inside the Galaxy S22 Ultra but that’s not happening.
Now according to leaker Ice Universe, Motorola will likely release its 200MP handset first. It is unlikely to be the Moto Edge X, which rumors alleged would be the first handset to feature Qualcomm's next flagship chip, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and feature a 50MP triple camera setup.
These things will actually make the Moto fans really happy.
He also adds that Xiaomi will be the next after moto to release a 200MP smartphone, sometime in the second half of 2022. As for Samsung, their own sensor will come inside the Galaxy S23 which will come sometimes in the first quarter of 2023.

The Samsung ISOCELL HP1 200 MP camera sensor features 0.64μm pixels and the new ChameleonCell pixel-binning technology will be able to produce 50MP images using 1.28μm pixels or 12.5MP shots using 2.56μm pixels in low-lit environments. This sensor will allow devices to capture 8K 30FPS videos, 4K 120fps and FHD clips at 240fps. Samsung says that the sensor is capable of capturing the details that the naked eye can’t. It will be really exciting to see.
