Olympus denies rumors of a collaboration with Samsung
Rumours were saying that Samsung and Olympus could collaborate for the development of Galaxy S22 series cameras, but now it looks like that won’t be happening.
According to LetsGoDigital, iconic camera manufacturer Olympus confirmed that it won’t be collaborating with Samsung on a new smartphone camera development. That means the chances of a Samsung and Olympus camera collaboration is zero.
I have told in my past videos that Samsung is already so good at smartphone imaging looking at their recent flagships, that they don’t need another camera manufacturer to do anything more.
Rumour has it that the Galaxy S22 Ultra will feature another quad-camera system. The phone will feature a 108 MP or the recently launched 200MP camera as main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) support. Seeing their recent flagships I can confidently say that the next Galaxy S flagship will be great as well.
Next generation flagship Galaxy will feature two zoom cameras, one 12-megapixel 3x telephoto and one 12-megapixel 10x periscope and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter. All of them will support OIS.
Recently we saw a huge improvement in camera features with the iPhone 13 series. So I can totally expect, being a competitor Samsung will move the competition to another level with their next Flagships.
