Pixel 7 Pro rumored to have brighter display than Pixel 6 Pro

Even though the Pixel 7 Pro display is supposed to have the same 1440 x 3120 resolution with 10Hz-120Hz variable refresh rate as the Pixel 6 Pro. According to Mishaal Rahman, it will be bit different, discovered in source code found on the Android 13 Beta.




We recently got to know that the Pixel 6 Pro uses Samsung S6E3HC3 panel, while the Pixel 7 Pro reportedly uses the S6E3HC4 display, according to the source code, the Pixel 7 Pro will have a brighter display and can go as bright as 600 nits in Manual mode, 100 nits more than the Pixel 6 Pro.

In Auto mode however, the peak brightness on the Pixel 7 Pro will be able to reach 1,000 nits compared to only 800 on the Pixel 6 Pro. The Pixel 7 series is also reportedly going to feature a native 1080p mode in display settings which is always cool to have if you wanna save battery
