Pixel 7 series might feature 3 different models

Google recently showcased their upcoming flagship series, the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro during the May I/O conference but now we have infos showing us another premium phone coming with these two devices.

9to5Google discovered a display driver tagged with "G10" inside the publicly available code from the Android Open Source Project. Now if you don’t know, the Pixel 7 and the Pixel 7 Pro are associated with the tags "C10" and "P10," respectively.

The same report also shows us that Pixel 7 and & pro will feature the identical display specs just like the current Pixel 6 and 6 pro. AOSP code snippets also revealed that the G10 must obviously run on Android, it should be powered by a Tensor chip, judging from all of the references to Exynos. This is also the first time that a Pixel-related codename with the letter "G". So it is obviously not a Pixel A series device or the Pixel Tablet or the Foldable.

Why it is not the Tablet or foldable? That's because the device has a 120Hz screen, a resolution of 1440×3120, and the device is 71x155mm in size. Considering all the these it is very safe to assume that this is a premium phone just like the Pixel 6 Pro. Now if you’re asking the display panel is coming from Chinese manufacturer BOE.

But because we don’t know too much about the device, its really hard to say where Google will place the device in the range. It might be a Pixel 7 Plus or maybe PIxel 7 Ultra. We have to wait a bit for more news to come in.
