Galaxy S22 to get 200MP Olympus Branded camera

Since there won’t be a new Galaxy Note lineup in 2021, the Galaxy S22 series will be the next BIG THING from Samsung after this August 11 launch.

A Korean publication is claiming that the Galaxy S22 launch will take place in January 2022 and judging by this years launch date, its not a surprise.

The other claim is a bit opposite of what another rumour was claiming. According to this new leak, the Galaxy S22 Ultra will have a 200-megapixel camera with the five-lens camera system carrying the Olympus branding. Now this isn’t the first time we are hearing this rumour.

For those who don’t know, Olympus is a Japanese camera manufacturer. Now it seems like a good marketing thing to most people. But i think in galaxy phones it will be different, aside from marketing samsung will also have much things to access in terms of improving the camera output quality. But is it needed? Probably not considering Samsung is already doing fantastic job at this department & It would be the first time that Samsung does something like this. Some even suggest that it was actually Olympus that approached Samsung,

A recent report actually claimed that Samsung had given up on the idea & it will feature Samsung’s third-generation 108MP ISOCELL HM3 sensor instead.

But i think we have to wait to see what’s actually coming.

Lastly, this report also claims that the Galaxy S22 Ultra is going to feature S Pen support like the way S21 Ultra does.
