Here, we're talking about Apple, and more specifically, the rumoured iPhone 15 Ultra, which the company is rumoured to debut alongside the rest of the iPhone 15 series next fall. Well-known leaker LeaksApplePro has stated that the new high-end flagship model from Apple would be more expensive than the one it replaces. According to him, the price of the iPhone 15 Ultra will be $1,199 or $1,299, respectively, costing it an additional $100 or $200 over the iPhone 14 Pro Max. (via HowToiSolve)
However, it's unclear if the "Ultra" model will take the place of the Pro Max or if it'll be added as a fifth choice to Apple's phone portfolio. In reality, the existence of a new high-end iPhone is not even guaranteed. After all, it won't be September 2023 for quite some time. Not to mention that the iPhone 14 series was also rumored to have a price increase, but there was no change from last year's prices. But if they launch an ultra model then there’s a big chance.
The leaker suggests that a combination of recent rumours about a titanium frame, as well as brand-new features like a dual selfie camera and a USB-C Thunderbolt 4 connector, may be to blame. He asserts that producing an iPhone 15 Ultra instead of an iPhone 15 Pro Max could cost Apple an additional $90.
Whatever the situation, keep in mind that it is still very early in the waiting game, so leaks and rumours tend to be even less reliable than usual. As a result, it is important to remember not to take any of this information too seriously. Watch this space for more iPhone 15 Ultra news!
