We recently heard that Qualcomm will change the name from Snapdragon 898 to Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Well, recently this power packed snapdragon flagship benchmarked on AnTuTu, courtesy of a tech tipster. As you can see below, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 benchmark score which has crossed the one million mark over on AnTuTu, placing it right up there with the newly announced Dimensity 9000 chipset and past year’s Apple M1 chip (if you consider that this snapdragon chip will power future android tabs) those also scored above the million points.
For comparison, the flagships like the Galaxy S21 Ultra with Snapdragon 888 usually scores around 800,000 range, that makes this upcoming snapdragon 8 gen 1 chip massively powerpacked compared to the snapdragon 888.
The processor is expected to be based 4nm process node, it will feature a faster X65 5G modem that will be able to provide a maximum download speed of 10 Gbps.
Qualcomm is expected to announce the chipset on November 30, 2021,
