Galaxy Club has recently reported the existence of a new chip with the model number S5E8825.
This could be the Exynos 1200
The Exynos 2100 that powers the Galaxy S21 is known by the model number S5E9840 and the upcoming Exynos 2200 has model number S5E9925.
leaker Ice Universe had said in the past that Samsung would release three chips this year: a flagship Exynos 22xx SoC, a mid-tier 12xx processor, and an entry-level 8xx silicone & It looks like this chip is the mid-tier one.
The Exynos 1200 could be the successor to the Exynos 1080, launched in specific markets. Since the Exynos 1080 is a 5nm chipset, we can expect the Exynos 1200 to stick with the 5nm process.
The chip reportedly has a built-in 5G modem and per a separate report, it may come with an AMD GPU. Exynos 1200 could feature ARM’s newly announced v9 architecture and a combination of Cortex-A710 and Cortex-A510 CPU cores.
As much as it sounds great, it is very much possible that Samsung may not use the Exynos 1200 for its phones and instead sell it to Chinese smartphone makers like vivo, like they did with the Exynos 1080.
