OnePlus 10 Pro charging speed leaked and it’s unimaginable
Recently we saw the possible design of the upcoming OnePlus 10Pro and now, a leaker claims that the device will offer unbelievable fast charging capabilities.
OnePlus has already confirmed that there won't be a T model of the 9 series this year, so OnePlus 10 range is next best things from the company. If you look at the renders the camera module looks extreme different compared to current flagship from the brand, but the bump has some similar characteristics of the Galaxy S21 Ultra’s camera bump with a mix of Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, which will accommodate as much as three sensors.
The device will be fueled by the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 chip, the specs of the chipset leaked recently too. The Oneplus 10 Pro will feature a 6.7-inches 120Hz screen and a 5,000mAh battery now for reference the OnePlus 9 Pro has 4,500mAh battery that supports 65W charging and requires 29 minutes for a full charge.
Now according to tipster Mukul Sharma (via Android Authority) the OnePlus 10 Pro is expected to support up to 125W fast charging. Oppo is also said to be working on several phones that will come with 125W charging support.
Xiaomi's 11T Pro has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 120W charging, it goes from zero to full in 17 minutes. Which if you look at iPhone’s fast charging capabilities, Xiaomi’s charging speed look insane. Now think about the upcoming OPPO-OnePlus 125W fast charging. But you also have to keep this in mind, the difference between 125W and 120W or even between 125W and 65W isn’t going to be that drastic. But you can expect it to charge a 5000 mAh battery around 20 mins. On top of that Fast Charging will also make the battery age faster. So fast charging a battery everyday will cost the battery some significant percentage of its full capacity. So it’s good one way, bad another way.
