This could be the OnePlus 10 Ultra

The OnePlus 10 Pro is already official and on sale in China, but there’s no news about its availability in markets outside china. We have also heard that it could be official globally in April.

Now, thanks to a patent image uncovered by @TechInsider we can take a look at possible OnePlus 10 Ultra phone.

The patent was reportedly filed in September 2021. If you look at the patent, it has almost the similar design of the OnePlus 10 Pro, which isn’t so much different looking compared to last year’s 9 pro aside from a different camera bump.

We know that Oppo and OnePlus have merged their R&D long time back. So even though OnePlus has been using telephoto lens for a long time now, its time for them to use some of Oppo’s expertise in the periscope zoom systems. The OnePlus 10 Ultra could come with Oppo's in-house MariSilicon NPU that will further improve the imaging capabilities of the phone's camera.

Last year, the company announced an ongoing partnership with legendary photography company Hasselblad, even though the collaboration made very little improvements to the overall camera quality of the OnePlus 9 Pro. There was a big hope that the OnePlus 10 Pro will do something different, which also left much to be desired in the photography aspect of this Chinese exclusive phone this year as well. Now, would a OnePlus 10 Ultra justify the company's collaboration with legendary photography company Hasselblad? Probably, but its just wishful thinking at this moment.
