Reliable tipster is showing an important feature of the Galaxy S23

Updated: Mar 8, 2022

People just recently got their latest Samsung Galaxy S22 devices and now, tipster Ice Universe has revealed some renders of the Galaxy S23. The renders clearly showing no hole-punch for the front-facing camera and because we cant see any signs of a popup camera or anything like that, that means Samsung Galaxy S23 will feature an under-display camera (UDC).

If this will happen then this would second Samsung Galaxy or first non folding Galaxy Phone to sport under-display camera feature. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 released last year came with an under-display 4MP camera sensor which is not exactly designed for crispy selfies its good only for video calls.

But the Galaxy Z Fold 3 had other optional cameras. Here on the other hand Samsung will have to implement the tech in a way that the output quality will be on par with the current hole punch selfie camera experience. Cause usually most customers will not like the weird effects in their selfies rather they will be happy to compromise with a hole-punch.

So going by the reliable leaker’s infos, if the manufacturer is indeed going to implement under-display camera in the next-gen Galaxy S series devices then definitely Samsung will have to improve the tech.
