Samsung could be using 50mp sensors on the Galaxy S22, S22+
Samsung Galaxy S22 rumors started coming slowly but surely. According to leakster Front Tron, Samsung will stop the megapixel wars as far as it more standard flagships are concerned and will settle for a 50MP main camera on the Galaxy S22 and S22+ and the ultrawide and telephoto lenses will use 12MP sensors only.
Samsung's new 50 MP ISOCELL GN2 sensor can be the one, which has 1.4μm-sized pixels. Now this is only about the standard models not the class-leading Galaxy S22 Ultra which will definitely feature even better periscope zoom setup.
In the ultra department we heard the opposite in April of this year. Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will feature 200MP sensor, which is rumored to feature 0.64µm pixels, which would further push the megapixel wars in the most ultra premium segment.
Now we have to wait for more leaks from other sources to confirm whats really coming and what not.
As far as some other S22-series specs that are leaked, the display sizes Galaxy S22 with a 6.06" display, an S22+ with a 6.55" one, and an S22 Ultra with a LTPO 6.81".
