Samsung's current Galaxy Z Fold 4, Z Flip 4 launch dates, storage price and colors are here

We have already heard so much about the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4. According to Jon ProsserSamsung's next Unpacked event is currently expected to happen on August 10, now keep this in mind that things could change even at the last moments, it depends on the products manufacturing timelines and quality control.

The Galaxy Z Fold 4, Z Flip 4, Galaxy Watch 5, and Watch 5 Pro to be announced and start their US pre-orders on August 10, 2022. The actual launch will happen on August 26, last thursday of the month. Last years Galaxy Devices were released on August 27, 2021, again the last Thursday of that month.

Galaxy Z Fold 4 wil come in phantom black, Green, and beige. Meanwhile, the Z Flip 4 will be abailable in a grand total of four shades grey, Light violet, gold, and blue/light blue.

These two devices will come with Android 12 based OneUI 4.1. But later this year these two will be updated to OneUI 5.0. According to SamMobile with One UI 5.0, Samsung is working on greatly improving the animation speeds and fluidity while navigating the phone’s UI. This is gonna be a great improvement considering the fact that no one wanna have lag or stutter while naviagating in the UI. It always ruins the experience even if you have high refresh rate displays.

SamMobile also reports that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will continue to offer 256GB and 512GB variants, and will add a 1TB varinat. But keep this in mind it might be region specific.

Now as for the price, the 512GB Galaxy Z Fold 3 costs $1,899 but the highest-end Galaxy Z Fold 4 model could cost around $2,000, which would be insane of a price tag. But it also might come with 16GB of RAM.

This year the Galaxy Fold will not feature anything crazy aside from upgraded camera setup that includes a 50MP main sensor instead of an 12MP unit and durability upgrades. The phone is expected to feature the 7.6-inches main display and 6.2-inches cover screen. We are also hearing that both the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 will have much less visible crease and wider aspect ratio.

And both devices will also most likely be powered by Qualcomm's latest premium SoC, the Snapdragon 8 + Gen 1.

Now as for the price of the Galaxy Z Flip 4’s price, according to SamMobile the prices are gonna be like this.

• 256GB - $1049

• 512GB - $1099

That also shows that the Galaxy Z Flip 4 will not feature 1TB variant like the Galaxy Fold 4. This year at least the Galaxy Flip 4 will offer a major improvement in battery life thanks to a big increase in battery capacity, 3700mAh up from 3300mAh of the past Galaxy Z Flip models,
