Samsung S22 Ultra Unpacked event is going to happen in January

According to Korean media The Elec, Samsung is preparing for the production of the upoming Galaxy S22 series, we recently saw the designs of the whole series. Now hearing this, i can say designs are more or less are the one that were leaked recently. Even though we saw two different modules, "P" shaped one and another uses two smaller vertical camera bumps that sit right next to each other.

According to the report the production share of the three Galaxy S22 phones are like this: about 50-60% for the Galaxy S22, 20% for the Galaxy S22+ and the rest for the most exciting upcoming phone, the Galaxy S22 Ultra. Past year the Galaxy S21+ had a 30% production share.

Now beacuse we are hearing there won't be any Galaxy S21 FE, so it does make sense for Samsung to make way more standard Galaxy S22 over S22 plus and on top of that Samsung Galaxy Note is making a comeback in the form of Galaxy S22 Ultra.

As for the specs, rumour has it that the Galaxy S22 Ultra's quad-camera system will feature a 108 MP as main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) support. Triple 12MP cameras, that includes one 3x optical zoom, one 10x periscope zoom camera and a ultra wide angle camera. A 40-megapixel selfie camera will sit inside the punch hole.

The Galaxy S22 series will have the Snapdragon 898 inside at least in the markets like US, Korea and china whereas the Exynos 2200 with an AMD GPU will power the phone in Europe and other international markets.

But this is still kinda up in the air. There were rumours that snapdragon 898 will be in most markets because the production issues of exynos 2200 with AMD GPU. In terms of battery, the series is expected to feature 3,800mAh inside the Galaxy S22, 4,600mAh inside the Galaxy S22 Plus and 5,000mAh inside the Galaxy S22 Ultra.
