Samsung sending out the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 units to carrier already..

As you probably know, Samsung is preparing to launch two brand new foldable smartphones - the Galaxy Z Fold 3 & There’s a lot that needs to be done before their released to the public.

According to the latest report from Dailian, Samsung is currently shipping prototypes of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 to South Korea’s largest mobile carriers - SK Telecom, KT, and LG U+, for them to run network tests.

This is a standard thing to be done to check if the new device is ready for the carrier's network & also to install the carrier apps on phones, which we all hate. On a separate note, Samsung has offered exclusive color options to carriers in the past, but not this time. So no South Korean carrier is going to get an exclusive color option for the upcoming devices.

This year one big thing coming with these phones is price cut, around 20%. That’s a Huge Price Cut. The lower price is going to make the foldables more of a mainstream smartphones. That’s probably why Samsung is expects to sell a combined 7 million units of these two devices. The new foldables are expected to be unveiled in August 3.

The Galaxy Z Fold 3 is expected to feature an under-Display-selfie camera, and support Samsung's S Pen. Galaxy Z Flip 3 will get a major redesign with thinner bezels inside and bigger cover display.
