The FCC and a Chinese regulatory body have revealed the specs for the Galaxy S23 Ultra

According to MySmartPrice, the much anticipated Samsung Galaxy S23 family is coming closer to hitting shop shelves.The American versions of Samsung’s 2023 flagships are now visible in the FCC certification database. There are three models visible: the Galaxy S23 (SM-911U), Galaxy S23+ (SM-916U), and Galaxy S23 Ultra (SM-918U). The FCC also approved the S Pen digital writing device (EJ-PS918) in addition to the three phones.

According to the FCC certification, the Galaxy S23 will have a battery with a normal rating of 3900mAh. The Galaxy S23+ will have a capacity of 4700mAh, and the Galaxy S23 Ultra will have a 5000mAh battery.

What's more interesting is that the Galaxy S23 Ultra, the top variant, has been spotted on China's TENAA certification site, which discloses the phone's specifications. The device will have a 6.8-inch display with a 1440 x 3088 resolution. The phone weighs 233 gms and has dimensions of 163.4 mm x 78.1 mm x 8.9 mm. The conventional Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC runs at a clock speed of 3.2GHz, but the overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset inside the Galaxy S23 ultra operates at a clock speed of 3.36GHz. Storage options for the Galaxy S23 Ultra include 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. The device will be offered with 8GB and 12GB of memory configurations. While it has been said that the primary camera on the back of the device will have a 200MP sensor, the TENAA documentation only displays a 108MP sensor, two 12MP sensors, and a 2MP sensor. The selfie camera on the front will be a 12MP sensor. The gadget will have a fingerprint scanner embedded in the display. But these camera specs look a little too off considering the recent leaks.

The Galaxy S23 Unpacked event is anticipated to take place by Samsung in February.
