The next Apple event is set for March 8, here’s what you can expect

Bloomberg's Mark Gurman predicted it would almost a month ago. Now its finally official. The next Apple event is happening officially on March 8 and set a reminder for the YouTube livestream.

The March 8 event, titled 'Peek Performance.', is expected to showcase a new iPhone SE model. Which will hardly bring any design changes, it might feature a new camera sensor, apples A15 bionic processor with 5G capabilities. Thats it. You can also expect the 5G-capable iPhone SE (2022) to go up for pre-order next Friday, March 11, with a release date of March 18.

Another expected product is the iPad Air 5. The current generation model was launched back in 2020. As for the upgrades, it might offer similar design with new refresh color options, Centre-stage front camera for better video calling experience, new processor and 5G support. As for the color options, if you take look at the colors on the teaser, you might have a better idea. It will follow the iPhones SE(2022) timeline. Leaker Evan Blass claims to have discovered concrete evidence that Apple will release a third-gen iPhone SE and an upgraded iPad Air with optional 5G connectivity.

As for the other products that I’m expecting are new MacBook Air with rumoured M2 chip and touch bar and same old design. While the mid tire 14” MacBook Pro which will succeed the M1 MacBook Pro might feature the same M2 chip with 14” MacBook Pro design and notched display with much less features here and there like 60Hz refresh rate, no min-LED display and limited storage configurations.

I’m also hoping for the long rumoured redesigned compact Mac Mini with M1 Pro and M1 Max chips. Which will definitely be an interesting product. It will surely gonna fulfill the desire to have insanely powerful experience, at a much lesser price tag. Also if apple is thinking of releasing a new Mac Mini then definitely they should release a compact and cheaper external monitor that will not be priced at $6000. This is still a speculation at this point. But hey it will be an exciting event nonetheless.
