Under-screen Touch ID coming to iPhone 14 series, not this year

Before jumping in, i should say one thing This prediction comes courtesy of noted Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who predicted that Touch ID sensors underneath screens will come for some models of 2022 phones not exactly iphone 14 name, according to MacRumors.

Kuo didn’t indicate which phones would be getting the in-screen fingerprint sensor – or under-screen Touch ID. And Kuo also reiterated his previous claims that we should expect an updated iPhone SE in the first half of 2022 But Kuo didn’t suggest the mid-range iPhone would get the under-screen Touch ID

Obviously, depending on things like production yields and component costs, Apple could still decide to expand the Touch ID to All the models or restrict it to just Pro Max one.

He did suggest that the iPhone 13 will be the last with a 5.4-inch ‘mini’ size. Instead, the 2022 iPhone 14 range will replace it with an affordable large phone with a 6.7-inch display.

Kuo also says the high-end 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch iPhones will feature an improved wide-angle camera with 48 megapixels.
