In June, it was reported that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 could be up to 20 percent cheaper than their predecessors.

According to @FrontTron the Galaxy Z Fold 3 price will be finalized in the 1,900,000 – 1,999,000 KRW (direct conversion $1,655 – $1,741) range.

For reference, the Z Fold2 was launched for 2.398 million won (~$2,088) and its price was reduced to 1.892 million (~$1,648) in April.

The Galaxy Z Flip 3’s range is said to be 1,200,000 – 1,280,000 KRW (direct conversion $1,045 – $1,110). The Z Flip 5G was launched with a price tag of 1.65 million won (~$1,437) and the price was slashed to 1.349 million won (~$1,175) this year.

Samsung has even decided not to release a Galaxy Note series phone this year, which typically used to hit 10 million in sales within the quarter of launch. Samsung is betting big on foldable this year. We have already seen huge upgrades coming.
