US prices and pre-order deals for Google's Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro are here

Updated: Nov 15, 2022

Both the Pixel 7 and the 7 Pro will come in 128GB and 256GB of internal storage space and the Pixel 7 will come in Snow, Obsidian, and Lemongrass colors, while the Pixel 7 Pro will come in Obsidian, Hazel, and Snow colors.

Android Police's Artem Russakovskii, also claims to have heard from a 100 percent trusted source about the gift card offers.

Specifically, it appears that if you pre-order a Pixel 7 at Target, you'll get a $100 gift card, while pre-ordering the Pixel 7 Pro means a $200 gift card. Pre-orders will be live on the day of the event, October 6, and October 13 is the release date.

As for the price much like last year's Pixel 6 and 6 Pro, the new pixels, the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro are expected to start at $599 and $899 respectively.

So according to me this could be the pricing of all the variants.

Pixel 7 - $599 with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM; $699 with 256GB storage and 8GB RAM.

  • Pixel 7 Pro - $899 with 128GB storage and 12GB RAM; $999 in a 256GB/12GB configuration; ($1,099 with 512GB storage and 12GB memory, if coming at all)

For comparisons Samsung's standard Galaxy S22, which typically costs $799 and the Galaxy S22 Ultra is priced at $1,200 and up.

Apple on the other hand has $799 iPhone 14, $999 iPhone 14 Pro, and $1,099 iPhone 14 Pro Max and a new $899 iPhone 14 Plus to compete.

So as far as design and cameras are concerned, at that price Google has some winners already only if the software experience will be smooth all around. Another change will be under the hood where the Google Tensor 2 chipset will reside. It will feature the same two ARM Cortex-A76 core found in the original Tensor chip will be used once again. As for the prime core, again it will feature a pair of ARM Cortex-X1 cores and four A55 cores. However, the clock speeds frequencies will see an upgrade. The multi-core score on Geekbench was 10% higher for the Pixel 7 Pro compared to the pixel 6 pro. But again keep this in mind Google is focused on the faster and power packed AI performance than anything else. SO typical specs comparison with the competitors won’t make sense.

The Pixel 7 Pro could also feature 3D Face Unlock this is possible due to the ability of the camera sensor on both phones to produce depth maps of the user's face. Google also set up random Pixel fans to get a sneak peek of the soon-to-be announced Pixel 7 Pro and recorded their responses in a recent video.
